I built Doctor_intensivist from the ground up as a digital personality and educational platform for an ICU doctor with a simple goal: make intensive care feel less frightening, more human, and easier to understand.
From the brand persona and visual direction to content strategy, scripting, shooting, editing, and social media management, I developed the page around a balance of medical knowledge, storytelling, humor, and personality.
Two recurring series became central to the content strategy. ICU Mystery Series turns unusual medical mysteries and historical cases into engaging storytime content, ending with a simple medical concept viewers can take away. The newer Medical Symptoms Series breaks down common symptoms and focuses on what people should understand and do in the moment.
The visual identity deliberately moves away from the intimidating clinical aesthetic of traditional medical content. Pop-art-inspired graphics, bold covers, approachable photography, and healthcare humor give the page a more vibrant personality while keeping the information clear and credible.
Within roughly four months, the platform grew to 7K+ followers, with several reels reaching 250K+ views within 24 hours and one reaching 2M views. The content now extends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, while the growing visibility of the platform has also led to media opportunities, including an invitation for an online episode with Rewan Mostafa on Al Hadath Al Youm.
