Two paintings from the Peripheral series were exhibited in Venice as part of the International Contemporary Art Exhibition organized by ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with ACIT Venice – Italian-German Cultural Association. The exhibition explored the evolving relationship between the body and the spaces we inhabit. Mariey’s work contributes to this dialogue through an investigation of perception and the quiet psychological tension between observing and being observed.
